City of Ferndale Public Works crews will conduct sanitary sewer smoke testing within Ferndale City limits east of I-5, from Main Street south to Smith Road on Thursday and Friday, September 24 and 25. Testing helps crews identify where surface water may be entering the sewer system.
During testing, you may see smoke coming from roof vents, gutters, yards, manholes or other unexpected locations. Don’t be alarmed.
